Senior Project Manager - Fuel distribution

They provide a full suite of bulk fuel services: whether a rapidly-deployable bulk fuel supply chain and corresponding aviation refueling operation or a long term, state-of-the-art bulk storage facility.

Responsible to: Assistant Operations Construction

Responsibility for Staff:

Directly: PM Life Support and PM Technical



Main Liaison:

Internal: PM's Assistant Project Manager, Local GM's

External: Local Contract workers, local authorities (either military or civil.



Prime Objective: To supervise the timely and cost effective delivery of multiple or complex life support and technical construction projects via civil works contractors. This equates to more than 2 million USD in total value or major infrastructure projects conducted by the company.



Key Tasks:

o Ensures that the PMP is adhered to and timely changes are recommended.

o Ensures that the Project Budget is maintained or and changes are justified and submitted in accordance with financial rules.

o Ensures that the process for recording any new works is adhered to with an Investment Approval (IA) and the required quantity of quotes for the works.

o Ensures that the IA register is maintained and tracked with regards to payments and work completed.

o Drafts the SOW for any major planned construction in accordance with the PMP.

o Ensures that the contract is followed by the contractor.

o Assesses completed works for fit for purpose and design against the SOW.

o Act as point of contacts for communications between interested parties.

o Advise on requirements for standards and standard operating procedures that pertain to construction.

o Makes sure that all SOP's are followed correctly and all required construction tasks are done and registered on the forms provided by the AOC Construction / Quality Manager br>
o Ensures where applicable that schedules and responsibilities are maintained in order to and maintain continuous work effort to the Project and the safety of contractor workers.

o Maintains construction equipment for the AOC

Construction and ensures records all equipment service.

o Provides any reports of projects to AOC Construction and other required reporting agencies.
