A great opportunity has arisen with our client in China; they are one of the country's leading businesses, have a large automotive division and are immediately seeking to appoint an experienced automotive General Manager to assume responsibility for a state-of-the-art dealership.
Effectively manage the resources for each department to achieve the required business objectives including sales volumes, profitability, employee satisfaction, customer satisfaction and loyalty levels.
Develop a customer service driven environment and culture through regular communication, team building and coaching.
Communicate and maintain customer service standards and measurements in line with the requirements of the manufacturer.
Provide clear leadership by ensuring the vision and objectives for the business and group are understood and communicated by each team.
Recruit, train and develop department managers' in-line with organisational requirements.
Agree objectives and work standards with department managers and review their performance on a regular basis.
Develop and monitor the business plan for all areas in order to meet business objectives, profit margins and market penetration.
Formulate and agree marketing activities and budgets in order to create and maintain brand awareness.
Who we're looking for
An automotive general manager with at least 10 years automotive retail experience gained in developing or local markets
Experience in China would be hugely beneficial
Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
Self-motivated and capable of working independently, and in a team environment
Analytical skills to enable review interpret and respond to each functional performance
Understanding of marketing concepts and application in the automotive environment Excellent references (employer and manufacturer)
