Our client is a diversified (automotive amongst other products and services) group based in Asia. They have a network of dealerships in several countries and are seeking to appoint a Dealer Development Director. It is an essential role in recognition of the development (current and anticipated) of our clients' managed markets and in-market dealership businesses. This individual is responsible for pitching for, establishing, recruiting to and then overseeing in-country franchise distributor / dealer businesses.
Who we're looking for
At least 10 years' experience in related fields within the automotive industry
Exceptional people, influencing and stakeholder management skills will be equally top class.
The complexities of this role will challenge you, not daunt you.
Experience of dealer development, from both an OEM and dealer perspective
Team leadership, strategic thinking, supplier management, stakeholder engagement, programme and project management skills and expert facilitation will all be required at the highest levels for this senior management role.
Fluency in English Additional languages (Arabic, Asian) would be desirable
Extensive experience of working with international markets
Ability to travel, including to 'challenging' markets, across the world from a Asia base, up to 50% of the time
