Our Client is a leading hotel-resort developer and operator who are currently developing a large flagship Hotel and Resort district in Abu Dhabi.
They are currently seeking a Scheduling Manager who has:
Minimum of ten (10) years experience with construction project scheduling and establishing project controls. Ability to apply sound judgment, decision making and problem solving skills to effectively complete assigned functions; a pro-active work style that recognizes problems and looks beyond current practices to suggest solutions to maximize the effectiveness of processes; excellent oral and written communications skills to deal effectively with business contacts; good working knowledge of PC computer software programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Primavera and Access); and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple work assignments while meeting deadlines. Must be familiar with cost and resource loading and able to generate various levels of schedule, cost, and man power reports; ability to work in a team environment; ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with management and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
All candidates who apply will be responsible for:
o Develop and maintain detailed design, procurement and construction schedules and sub schedules.
o Analyze contractor prepared CPM schedules and work with contractors and consultants to achieve an approved baseline schedule.
o Monitor on going project progress and be able to report on the overall project status and more detailed sub project levels.
o Provide accurate and detailed tracking for all equipment.
o Facilitate set up for procurement tracking system and monitor ongoing progress.
o Support multiple Development Managers responsible for different project areas.
o Assist with other duties as required.
Skills: Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related fields preferred or equivalent work experience in a project construction field, excellent interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts, maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance while adhering to Development Company standards.
