Senior Internal Auditor

The position reports to the Director of Internal Audit EA/MENA, who is based in Holland.

Key Role and Responsibilities :

- The role involves atleast 50% international travel.

- The Internal Audit team in EA/MENA currently consists of 10 auditors based across region, as well as external audit consultants on a project basis.

- This is an excellent opportunity to break away from the profession; high variety of operations (Sales, distribution, shipping as well as production and growing), managing audit assignments, including external audit consultants.

- The audit assignments comprise mainly financial and compliance audits. Del Monte is a US-listed company and has to comply with the Sarbanes Oxley act.

- You will report to the Director of Internal Audit in EMEA.

-Performing financial and compliance audits (in accordance with the Sarbanes Oxley act section 404 and compliance with Company Policies);

-High involvement in a variety of operations (sales, distribution, shipping as well as production and growing);

-Make recommendations to the adequacy of internal controls within business processes;

-Liaise with the finance departments in the various countries on follow-up items and action plans.

The successful candidate will have :

1.Fluency in English and Arabic is required;
2.Ability to work independently;
3.Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley is an advantage;
4.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
5.Big4 experience is a strong preference;
6.Qualified (or nearly qualified) CPA/ACCA or equivalent;
7.4-6 years of audit experience.
