Job Description
A key client has operations based in Iraq and is looking for senior level Logistics /
Project Manager.
The role will be managing a small freight forwarding contract worth around 10 million USD.
They are currently looking to hire a logistics manager with
freight forwarding experience to be based in Baghdad travelling between
Erbil, Basra, Baghdad and UAE, the freight volume is spread between all 3
cities in Iraq, 700 tonnes, 700 KG per consignment, they have 3 people on the
ground at the moment but they will potentially build a bigger team around this person. 

Candidate Requirements
Staff would be based in Erbil, Baghdad and Basra, this candidate could be at any of these places
The candidate will be responsible for the operations at their location.
Appropriate levels of security provided, which varies city to city.
Candidate must feel comfortable in this environment. Additionally, candidates should be aware of harsh climatic environment and also cultural issues.
Individual should have at least 10 years industry experience, from a freightforwarding background.
Nationalities: Western European, Australian, New Zealand,
US, Canadian and South African candidates are preferred.
