Job Description:

We are looking for an Electrician with knowledge and practical experience in the fields of electrical systems such as generators, electrical cabinets, solar panels, batteries and UPS.

A real “handy man” that can perform maintenance at basic to intermediate level on large scale, advanced systems, scattered over a wide geographical area. The Maintenance activity includes outdoors physical work in extreme weather conditions.



Responsibilities:

Execute technical processes including corrective, preventive maintenance, fault diagnostics, and assembly and disassembly of the following components:
•Electrical components
•Batteries
•Electric motors
•Control Components
•Diesel Generators
•Solar panels and associated battery and control systems
•UPS
•Insulated cables and connect switches, outlets and other fittings

Education / Certification:
•Electrical practical engineer (PE) with minimum of 3 years’ experience
•Qualified Electrician, ideally who has undertaken an apprenticeship



Requirements:
•Minimum of 5 years experience in maintenance
•Knowledge of security systems (advantage)
•Experience working within a multicultural environment
•Ability to work in a team and independently as well
•Knowledge in running diagnostics checks for mechanical and electronic component
•Problem solving skills
•Being able to articulate information clearly to colleagues and management.
•Willingness to work and live on remote sites
