Job Description
Our client is currently recruiting for a Business Intelligence Developer. You will be reporting to the Business Intelligence Solutions Manager
Key Function:
• Ensure consistent, accurate and timely delivery of information through Business Intelligence platform.
• Design and implementation of Business Intelligence Solutions.
• Direct involvement in the Software Development lifecycle through building reporting structures of newly developed applications.
• Enterprise Data-warehouse management and ETL design using Microsoft SQL SSIS.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Develop reports and dashboards using Cognos Report Studio, Query Studio and Analysis Studio.
• Design and develop meta-data models using Cognos Framework Manager.
• Support and management of the Enterprise Data-Warehouse.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports using SQL, Crystal Reports and Excel.
• Maintain/Enhance existing reports on Cognos.
• Support and maintain user interface and run time performance.
• Management and delivery of projects and report requirements.
• Ability to prepare and deliver training to end users.
Profile & Skills:
• 4 years’ experience in IBM Cognos BI Platform.
• Microsoft SQL SSIS / SSAS.
• Data-warehousing and ETL processes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong Project Management skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Strong work-ethics and self-monitoring.
Education:
• Degree in Computer Science or MIS preferred.
