Job Description
Identifies, tracks, and analyzes Plant Operational Excellence data and organizes the data for presentation to both internal and external partners for use in business planning. Coordinates plant annual budgeting processes. Monitors and analyses plant financial performance throughout the year. 

Key Accountabilities
1. SAFE WORK RESPONSIBILITIES
Follows and is a role model for all plant safe work practices and procedures. Assists company personnel in coaching adherence to the company Tenets of Operations, Operational Excellence (OE) System requirements, and company policies and procedures.
2. GROUP POLICIES, PRACTICES AND PROCEDURES
Helps to document and maintain policies, practices, and procedures required for administrative group activities that support Operational Excellence System Standards and Specifications. Follows plant Operational Excellence policies and procedures and provides coaching and support to others on OE procedures.
3. PROJECT SUPPORT ROLE
Supports the development of the plant Enterprise Reporting Program (ERP), Owner’s Cost procurement activities; organize and administer document transition activities; set up plant areas as assigned by Management. Support procedure development and training activities.
4. CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT TEAMS
Provides support for improvement teams. Identify and track operating performance and cost data as needed to support team activities. Help develop and communicate strategic improvement plans.
5. PLANT ANALYST ROLE
Identify, collect, and track performance data on PCC plant operations and business activities. Research and analyze the data for presentation to plant partners, owners, and other interested parties. Develops presentations, tracking tools, and analysis techniques as needed to provide improvement analysis for Operational Excellence goals and objectives. Ensures all applicable plant groups (operations, Maintenance, Laboratory, Admin, etc.) are consulted with on data associated with their plants or activities to ensure all data and analysis are accurate. Develops economic analysis for projects and other plant activities as needed.
6. DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT
Ensure critical policies, practices and procedures are documented and maintained in accordance with the plant Operational Excellence System Standards and Specifications. Understand your document management roles and responsibilities and carry out document management and retention activities as scheduled and in a timely manner.

OPERATING CONTEXT, BOUNDARIES AND DECISION MAKING
The job holder provides data collection and analysis services for the all PCC plant operations and business activities for reporting to internal and external groups.
Internally works closely with all Plant and Business staffs to identify and track data for each group’s activities. Supports plant improvement teams.
Externally has contact with counterparts in SChem to identify standard metrics and data analysis techniques and helps determine the applicability for adoption for PCC plant and business reporting requirements.

Candidate Requirements 

Qualifications: A Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.

Training: Knowledge and experience with business reporting systems and experience with plant or manufacturing business services. Training on business reporting systems (SAP, Microsoft Ax, etc.). Experience with spreadsheet tracking and analysis tools for wide varieties of data (pivot tables, charts, graphs, etc.).

Skills: Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills in English and Arabic. Proficient in MS-Office and good interpersonal skills; good organisation and multi-tasking skills. Access data base knowledge is a plus.

Experience: Must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a position providing business services (Purchasing, Finance, Accounting, etc.) to projects or plants at petrochemical or manufacturing plants.
