Job Description
To maintain all the refrigeration, air conditioning and chilled water equipment within the hotel to ensure maximum efficiency and to reduce the chance of losses through equipment failure.
Responsibilities
Maintain all refrigeration and air conditioning equipment in the hotel and associated areas. Perform shift duty as Duty Engineer. Carry out work orders and other assignments given by the DOE/Chief Engineer and Assistant Engineer Manager. Attend to guest complaints as well as complaints from other departments. To carry out preventative maintenance program and to work very closely with senior a/c and refrigerator technician and other engineering staff. Keep a close track of the performance of all refrigeration and a/c equipment. Maintain logged records of all of the a/c and refrigeration machinery. Do a daily walk around the a/c machinery to ensure good working condition and prevent losses. Make sure that all materials needed to perform the jobs are available prior to work commencing. Maintain Engineering spare in a safe, clean and orderly manner. Assist in energy conservation programme. Comply with hotel and corporate S.O.P.’s.
Take equipment readings as per your working schedule. Document all work performed and any spare parts used. Serve as a member of the hotel emergency rescue team. Carry out any requests asked of you by your immediate supervisor.
Skills and Requirements
Please note that all candidates must have valid permission to live and work in the United Arab Emirates.

Preferred candidates should have the same previous experience, fluent in English both oral and written, able to work under pressure, and physically fit.
