JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title : Membership Manager
Chain of Command: Franchise Sales Manager / General Manager
Department: Sales
Reporting Areas: Sales and Marketing
JOB PURPOSE
•To manage a team of Membership Consultants against the Sales Daily Action Plan
•To drive sales performance to achieve the monthly sales budget
•To monitor Product Mix against required targets
•To deliver daily training sessions to the team
•To identify opportunities for new business
•To carry out day to day sales administration
DUTY A: CONTROL
1.To ensure that MC’s achieve the agreed Minimum Performance Criteria daily
2.To ensure that the sales strategy and activity goals are achieved
3.To implement fully, all aspects of the Sales Daily Action Plan
4.To ensure reports are submitted on a Daily basis or when required, in a timely and accurate manner
5.To implement the monthly sales and marketing Launch Document and the promotions within it
6.To identify risks in the business and work with the GM and Sales Management team to overcome them
7.To implement ‘The Rules of the Game’
DUTY B: FINANCIAL
1.Ensure that the integrity of the sales is upheld to maximize revenue for each sale made
2.To implement any price promotions or initiatives within the guidelines given
3.To drive product Mix towards agreed goals to support other revenue streams
4.Compile the monthly commission report for the Accounts Team and Group Sales Manager
DUTY C: PERFORMANCE
1.Agree Monthly and Daily performance goals with the MC’s
2.To manage all MC’s against Minimum Performance Criteria
3.To implement further performance requirements as directed
4.To monitor monthly performance of every MC
5.To personally deliver units to 10% of the club budget to a maximum of 30
6.To identify opportunities for new business outside the club.
7.Prepare the Sales Plan with the club GM
