Job Description:
1.Conceptualizes and realizes original content generation.
2.Plan and manage all content development of one of the following areas: Regional and World Business, Youth , Women, Technology, Sports or Lifestyle.
3.Assigns and maximizes resources to gather content. (e.g. people, syndication etc).
4.Follow-up on timely gathering of content.
5.Ensure text conforms to ZADD standards.
6.Publish content across all media channels required.
7.Determines through selection the hierarchy, suitability and quality of the content.
8.Take final responsibility for published content. (e.g. sign off final pages, approval of content to Web).
Requirements:
•2 years in a similar capacity.
•Excellent writing, editing, proof reading and verbal English skills.
•Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to mentor, motivate and manage.
•Accuracy and attention to detail.
•Ability to work effectively under pressure.
•Ability to coach and mentor to ensure quality of content production.
•Being up to date and well aware of local and regional media.
•A degree in journalism or in the field of communications is preferred.
