Job Description: 
Our client, is the world leader in building materials is currently seeking to recruit Shift Chemist (Quality Control). You will be reporting directly to the Quality Control Manager

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for day to day testing, process sampling and testing in order to ensure good management of Quality. Responsible for accurate analysis within the statutory legislation and the internal company Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental Standards.

Key Role & Responsibilities

• Implement the control of raw mix chemistry & uniform raw meal for smooth production operation
• Execute & follow up on quality and reporting of in process & final product according to the predefined targets
• Assures Safety action plan in X-ray Laboratory by safety exit plans, safety signs and MSDS
• Ensure that a standard method of testing is established and complies with the requirements of the relevant standard specification.
• Implement the Calibrations and trouble shooting of XRF, XRD, PSA ,QCX, automatic samplers and LECO according to standard operating procedure
• Execute & delegate jobs assigned by Quality Manager
• Analyze and prepare as required reports for unstable operational conditions of Kiln Process regarding Quality Control.
• Motivate personnel, coach and develop team member by giving feedback. Assess team, develop and implement training plans to ensure the team's development.
• Follow up environmental specific projects and coordinate the implementation with other departments
• Liaise with local authority specifically environmental sector in order to foster good relation and maintain permits needed for operations

Person Profile: QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Min Experience
5-7 years with at least 4 year in Cement field
