Job Description: Manpower Middle East FZ LLC is currently looking for an Arabic and English speaking Custom Web Solutions Digital Services Team Project Manager (UAE). 

This is a contract staffing (outsourced) role to support our client, a leading multinational finance and media consultancy group.

Reporting to: CWS Digital Services Manager (UK)
Job Type: Full Time (12-month fixed term contract)
Location: Dubai Media City

Purpose
To ensure successful delivery of the legislation summary and website consultancy project for the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department.

Overview

The role will require daily editorial project management, specifically concerning the scoping and creation of a body of legislation summaries for the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) website. The candidate will be expected to manage temporary legal writers in producing high quality, Arabic legislation summaries and also to conduct website audit work.

The other key aspect of the role is the requirement to work closely with the ADJD in scoping the legislation and developing the client relationship by acting as the primary contact for the wider project.

The candidate will require strong people management and client relationship development skills, as well as the ability to continually develop and improve the service. The role will also require a degree of writing work, aside from management duties.

Role expectations

People and contract delivery management
- Line management of temporary legal writers, with responsibility for holding individual and team meetings, as well as development and performance reviews
- Primary contact and escalation point in the UAE for the ADJD contract, attending client meetings (including face-to-face) on a regular basis
- Assist other CWS writers with the creation of English-language versions of the legislation summaries and video content
- Liaise with and report to the CWS Digital Services Manager (UK), assisting with a range of tasks to ensure successful delivery of the project
- Development of client relationships, seeking to proactively provide excellent service and to initiate ideas for improving their experience
- Monitoring the editorial approach/processes and continually seeking to improve efficiency and methodology, whilst adhering to ISO quality management standards
- Taking on writing work as appropriate to help deliver the contract requirements to time
- Assist on other CWS projects as required

Project management
- Provide a professional project management service to clients as required
- Ensure projects are planned effectively and all relevant folders and processes are set up
- Create robust lines of communication with the project team and the client, keeping the client updated and involved at all times
- Ensure the correct resources are in place and the project is delivered to time and to budget unless client requirements dictate this to be impossible

Customer service
- Adhere to and promote the CWS Customer Service Charter amongst the team
- Proactively manage and deliver excellent customer service to CWS clients
- Ensure our customer service is regularly assessed and look for improvements at all times

Team development
- Act as the primary support to your team and assist them in delivering the client contracts in an efficient and responsive manner and to a high quality
- Create an open, honest and friendly environment in which your team can operate
- Provide opportunities to discuss and promote new ideas and innovation within the team
- Leverage the experience and skills within your team to maximise efficiencies in contract delivery and assist with business development

Business development
- Assist the Head of CWS and colleagues in sourcing new business opportunities through existing client relationships and through potential new clients
- Promote a business development approach to the work of your team
- Assist with tender response submissions and quoting for new client work

Person Profile: Role requirements 

Essential
Law degree or commensurate experience
Experience of working in an online environment
Communication skills (written and oral)
Fluent in Arabic
Fluent in English (or to a working level)
Knowledge of the UAE legal system
