Accountant (with fluent English)

Job Description and Requirements


SHUKR Clothing, an American, Islamic Clothing, e-commerce company with a regional office in Amman is seeking to hire an experienced QuickBooks accountant for its Amman office. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 2 year's experience working in an Accounting role with experience in producing year-end financial statements. In addition, the ability to communicate effectively in English with senior management from the UK and North America is essential.


Job Description:
1.Reporting to the Financial Manager, produce monthly, quarterly, and annual Profit & Loss and Balance Sheets
2.Manage the junior accountant to ensure all day-to-day entries for all companies have been accurately recorded.
3.Produce inter-company transactions for our group of companies
4.Work closely with the auditors to ensure the completion of annual audit


The candidate should possess the following skills:
•Fluent English essential (written and spoken)
•Degree in Accounting or similar
•Experience in producing annual P&L and Balance Sheet
•Experience with Quickbooks preferred but not essential as full training will be given
