Job Description and Requirements


Engicon – a leading Engineering Consulting Company in Jordan - is seeking to hire an Environmental Studies Department Manager to work at the headquarter offices in Jordan, with following qualifications:


•Minimum B Sc degree in Environment or any related field.


•A minimum of 15 years of experience in a related field with a minimum of 4-5 years in a supervisory/managerial position.


•Proficiency in both written and spoken Arabic and English languages.


•Ability to work towards the adherence to the overall requirements and obligations of the Environmental Studies Department policies and procedures.



The position will require the incumbent to perform the following tasks:
•Managing the process of implementing and conducting environmental studies methodologies to collect data, take samples, analyze and prepare reports of findings.


•Supervising the activities of environmental studies team members from a technical perspective and providing proper guidance, accordingly.


•Providing technical advice and recommendations related to framework of the studies, their outcomes and methodologies.


•Scheduling work according to priority and distributing the tasks among the department staff.


•Participating in the development of strategies and objectives of the environmental studies business, and working towards achieving the set targets and objectives in terms of revenue, market share, …etc


•Managing the process of keeping, updating and maintaining the business development funnel for the Environmental Studies Discipline including hot leads, long term and prospecting activities.


•Identifying new project opportunities and establishing relations with new Clients, as well as handling negotiations and securing the award of contracts.
