Job Title: Procurement Manager Civil / MEP Infrastructure Projects Abu Dhabi.

Job Description:

Required Procurement Manager for Civil/MEP Infrastructure Projects located in Abu Dhabi

Qualification:

B.Sc in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with exposure on Oracle, ERP and/or SAP

Experience:

Minimum 15 years experience in Civil/MEP Infrastructure projects (viz. Sewerage, Drainage, Pipeline, Water, Waste water etc…) out of which 5 years experience in UAE.



Skills:

o Exposure in Procurement / Contract Administration / Material
o Handling of letters of Credit and any other terms of payment.
o Working with Logistics for placing Purchase Orders and handling all the correspondence to control the orders/shipments and prepare the shipping documents.
o Preparation of Technical Submittal for all Civil & MEP Materials
o Vendor Management - Long term relationship with suppliers
o Review and analysis contract documents
o Review the drawing, specification and bill of quantity to issue the enquiry packages for all activities and sending it to all vendors.
o Oversee preparation and float enquiry documentation by procurement section
o Maintain tender suppliers and subcontractors register.
o Follow up with all vendors for receiving the quotation for all project materials
o Arrange the technical evaluation between all offers of vendors and project specification and preparing the technical package which received from vendors
o Prepare the comparison sheet between prices for supplier/subcontractors and project budget
o Negotiation with supplier/subcontractors for material prices and choosing the best price
o Coordinate and manage the tendering process.
o Identify and obtain technical documentation to support pricing
o Obtain planning input to support the pricing
o Arrange the final priced resource list for all subcontract/supplier
o Coordinate with the Estimator for all final prices (Direct & Indirect Cost)
o Preparation of the final bidding prices & technical package
