The Children's Museum-Jordan is in need to recruite on temporary basis (3-4 months) a Develoment Supervisor to cover some/all of the following duties:
• Promote corporate memberships, facility rentals and other development programs to corporations,institutions and prospective clients.
•Work closely with development manager in developing and communicating facility rentals as a fund-generating strategy.
•Manage business components of facility rentals (including corporate and external private functions, meetings and events).
•Handle all inquiries,submit pricing proposals to prospective facility rental clients, conclude deals, and prepare contractual agreements. Supervise smooth running of external event.
•Coordinate all development activities and required campaigns with the Development manager; serve as liaison with external clients’ leadership and see to the scheduling of meetings, prospect research, mailings, minutes, tracking and accurate reporting of donations.
•Constantly build and maintain relationships with donors and potential donors.
•Raise awareness of the Museum and its work in conjunction with the Marketing &Communication Manager.
•Prepare reports for both donors and partners.
•Maintain donors, members and prospect donor database.
•Assist in research for new opportunities for marketing and fundraising and in identifying marketing strategies for revenue sources (e.g. Corporate sales...).

Prepare proposals for grants and help in preparing sponsorship

Education/Experience

-BA in business administration, Marketing, Communication or Journalism.

- Work experience in public relations or marketing, in a museum or cultural attraction, journalism or communicationand benefits materials.

Knowledge, Ability and Skills

•Ability to collaborate effectively with other staff in the implementation of effective programmes.
•Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Arabic.
•Ability to organize, deal with multiple tasks and effectively prioritise workloads.
•Highly motivated with professional attitude and demeanour.
•Proactive approach to problem solving.
•High standard of computer literacy.
•Excellent interpersonal relations
