Job Description and Requirements
Senior Technical Project Manager is required to manage infrastructure project(s) at a Government client.
Minimum of 5 years project managing (accountable) major infrastructure (2000+ users, 200+ servers) technology transformation project delivery at blue-chip corporates or large public organisations.
A minimum of 10 years experience in working on major infrastructure technology transformation projects.
Experience planning and executing datacentre migrations and infrastructure service migrations in real time as the accountable technical project manager with disciplined yet pragmatic approach to risk and change management.
Strong, demonstrated stakeholder management skills to executive level.
An understanding of the current industry technology sets to an appropriate level for a transformation project manager, particularly with regard to planning and sequencing activities. This will include:
- Microsoft enterprise services such as Active Directory, SQL, Exchange, System Center.
Network architecture & security including firewalls, IPS, content filtering
- Enterprise virtualisation
Thorough understanding of enterprise technology architecture, particularly virtualisation, wintel, storage, networks and enterprise data centres.
Years of Experience: Minimum of 5 and maximum of 10 years.
