Financial Controller

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Annual Budgeting and Forecasting: Assists Managing Director in preparing and consolidating annual budget reports for Germany
• Analyzes overall performance of the businesses
• Performs standard operational controlling tasks e.g. submission of monthly corporate reporting, financial forecasting, budgeting
• Responsible for meeting the corporate and general reporting and accounting standards.
• Participates in special projects
• Prepares Shareholder/Board Meetings
• Prepares Corporate audits and financial statements
• HR: Sets up and monitors all HR relevant processes and procedures
• Ensures that all procedures are in place and executed according to the company’s standards
• Builds the interface to Corporate IT in Germany
• Supports MD in building up the initial set up and structure

Person Profile Requirements:

• University degree or comparable in Finance, Business Administration or related subjects
• Working experience of min. 5 years in Controlling/ Finance-ideally in an international environment
• Very good understanding of Finance in general and ability to work with company’s standards/ processes
• High level of analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Team player and strong communication skills
• Strong implementation skills
• Very good English communication skills- written and spoken
• Excellent Excel skills,
• Thorough knowledge of SAP tools
