Assists in targeting potential leads and pursuits; helps plan and select most appropriate sales strategies and approaches to gain entry to a client. Develops and utilizes knowledge of business financials and competitive sales tactics; participates in creating and facilitating compelling presentations of the products and services to effectively persuade and frame client opportunity, deal crafting and positioning, and enabling client decision to close. Responsible for managing demand and quickly qualifying opportunities.
•Plans, directs, and coordinates the activities of sales professionals to drive revenue growth and profitability in alignment with sales objectives
•Apply region-specific information and tools such assales processes, competitive insights, sales best practices/lessons learned from opportunity reviews, working with third-party intermediaries during pursuits and clients' needs for business solutions within targeted industries.
•Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products.
•Determine price schedules and discount rates.
•Drives efforts to expand and grow company market share and presence through establishment and cultivation of ongoing relationships.
•Targets potential leads and pursuits, plans and selects most appropriate sales strategies and approaches.
•Assists pursuit team in drafting and positioning deals and closing. Shares industry, deal, and sales best practice knowledge with sales community; may mentor and coach other sales managers and Accounts Executives.
Key Education and Experience
•Bachelor's degree in business administration or marketing related field.
•Common courses like economics, business law, finance, mathematics, management and statistics.
•5+ years experience in Sales or Sales Support Functions experienced in working with national or international organizations in the context of IT products and Services, ideally Managed Service Solutions.
