Job Description for Contracting Site Engineer


We are searching for a qualified Site Engineer who is ready to take on execution position within a major civil contractor environment.
• The Site Engineer is responsible for carrying out a variety of basic field duties at the job site related to the general construction. The Site Engineer also maintains contact on the working level with subcontractor’s Foremen, the Site Engineer reports to the Project Manager.
• Assist in preparing daily construction reports & preparation of a work activities items list.
• Insure that materials and equipment's are released for construction in time to meet the construction schedule.
• Prepare estimates for the changes in the works from subcontractors.
• Study contract drawings, specifications and shop drawings to insure proper coordination of built-in-items.
• Perform various responsibilities as assigned by the Contracting Projects Manager, such as supervise certain subcontractor work activities to insure timely and accurate performance of subcontractor work; performing certain subcontractor supervision duties and reviewing their due payments .
Assist in the preparation of final records for the project & Knowledge of all general contract, subcontract documents, drawings, specifications, and surveying Instruments.
• Maintain all compliances, perform other duties as assigned.
• Computer skills are required such as Microsoft office and Engineering Programs AutoCAD, Primavera
• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, with two - five years related experience.
