Role Overview:
Learning & Development Manager is responsible for Leading and managing the Learning and Development section of Human Capital, with all Learning & Development initiatives and program through identifying, planning, developing and coordinating all training and development programs for the imparting and addressing the relevant development needs of the organization and employees aligned to company’s objective that supports business growth.
Job Responsibilities:
•Provide support to the business through developing, integrating and implementing efficient training and development strategies that improve productivity, maximize employee and organizational effectiveness ensuring consistency and alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
•Develop and establish Training system, policies, and processes in order to deliver the objectives of Training and Development in line with the Learning & Development strategy.
•Ensure identification of training needs using a structured format and approach, to form the basis for developing corporate training programs to meet specific job & technical requirements.
•Work closely with the key support functions to understand the changing business and skills requirements to modify and customize training programs.
•Lead the implementation of training and development plans and programs to meet the training needs identified that support the achievement of business objectives.
•In coordination with the Senior Management, internal and external stakeholders, implement customized training and development programs that improve organization effectiveness and capabilities across the entire workforce and meet the business challenges.

•Ensure core job skills and orientation training programs are in place.
•Identify training resources and examine the cost-benefit of training proposals. Organize and co-ordinate the effective delivery of training and developmental programs which are cost beneficial to the organization.
•Build and manage good relationship with external vendors to ensure timely and efficient completion of programs.
•Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs to determine effectiveness of training Vs. program objectives.
•Support management in conducting organizational reviews and make recommendations regarding training requirements to maximize efficiency and use of available talent.
•Identify skills needs and gaps and initiate action to remedy, and high potential personnel for development.
•Provide training consultancy services, management and training resources to the various business units of the organization to meet contractual obligations and facilitate the revenue generation using centralized and local resources.
•Manage the processes of identification of a talent pool within each division, their development needs and potential development opportunities through creating a talent mapping matrix in coordination with external consultants and ensure that the processes address strategic business needs and meet professional and legal standards.
•Monitor the effectiveness of Talent Management programs/activities ensuring service delivery is consistent and in line with agreed standards.
•Design the Personal Development Plan (PDP) for individuals in order to structure their development in line with identified training needs and career plans.
•Ensure that the company wide training targets per individual are met in line with the individual training plans.
•Manage the coaching and mentoring of identified staff to address specified development needs.
•Implement the mentoring system to address identified mentoring needs.
•Provide inputs and suggestions for the continuous improvement of section practices - taking into account international best practice, changes in international standards and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans in line with company objectives.
•Lead the Section team setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff — in order to achieve timely completion of the tasks within the allocated budget and achieve DP’s overall objectives.
Job Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree holder.
•4-6 years of experience in Training & Development.
•Good Knowledge of Training and Development Mythology.
•Excellent command of English.
