Senior Furniture Designer

Job Description and Requirements


Responsibilities:
•Design furniture for clients and Voi Artis’ private collection.
•Sketches freehand design of article.
•Obtains approval from customer and authorized company officials, and originates scale or full size drawing, using drawing instruments.
•Prepares itemized production requirements to produce item.
•Prepares or directs preparation of blueprints containing manufacturing specifications, such as dimensions, kind of wood, and upholstery fabrics to be used in manufacturing article.
•Meets with clients to understand their furniture and space requirements.
•Presents drawings and designs to clients and makes amendments as necessary.



Required Skills:
•3-5 years experience in Furniture and interior design
•Excellent capability of spatial planning
•Good knowledge of furniture design
•Good knowledge in furniture standards and codes
•Excellent Arabic Language
•Excellent English Language
•Organized
•Expert level in AutoCAD 2D & 3D
•Expert level in 3D MAX
•Proficient in Microsoft Office
•Excellent communication skills
