Atypon systems is a software services company headquartered in Santa Clara, CA with offices in Manhattan, New York and Oxford, UK. Our software platform is used by some of the world's most prestigious publishers. Since our founding the company has grown organically as well as through acquisitions. As the company continues its rapid growth we are establishing an R&D office in Amman, Jordan. Our office in Amman is currently recruiting R&D talent to work alongside our teams in California, New York and Oxford. We have openings for senior and junior developers. Requirements
•Excellent programming skills resulting in clean, high-quality, appropriately optimized code that is a pleasure to work with
•Excellent knowledge of Java
•Familiarity with open source frameworks spanning UI, persistence, messaging, distributed computing, analytics or other areas used in building enterprise level software
•Familiarity with relational databases. MSSQL or Oracle database administration experience is a plus
•Exposure to J2EE or Spring framework is a plus
•Versatility and ability to thrive on a collaborative environment
•Fresh Graduates must have participated in a programming competition such as IEEExtreme or the ACM.
•Being able to express yourself in English both verbally and in writing is a must. Phone interviews as well as in person interviews are conducted in English.
