Job Description
As an SAP Netweaver Technology Consultant with experience in Oracle Database Administration, the candidate will be:
* Involved in the review of the current security setup for both SAP Netweaver and Oracle database and asses the required changes to improve such setup.
* Working with all BASIS members to harden existing security and auditing configuration across all systems landscapes.
* Delivering presentations, awareness sessions, and developing the required procedure, policies and guidelines to assure continuous compliance of all operational systems.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Review the existing security setup for both SAP Netweaver and associated databases (Oracle, MaxDB …) and propose the required changes to improve.
* Develop a plan to implement required changes across all systems and coordinate the implementation with other teams.
* Work with all BASIS members to harden existing security and auditing configuration across all systems landscapes.
* Delivering presentations, awareness sessions, and developing the required procedure, policies and guidelines to assure continuous compliance of all operational systems.
* Review security related notes as published by the vendors and provide an assessment showing applicability, and criticality based on our local setup.
* Develop a method to monitor security related configurations and report any deviation.
* Reviews IPC generated reports (noncompliance report and penetration test) and develop an action plan to handle all related items.
Candidate Profile
* Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent.
* Certified as SAP Netweaver Technology consultant.
* Certified Oracle Database Administrator.
* At least 8 years experience with SAP Netweaver technology.
* At least 6 years experience with Oracle Database Administration.
* At least 4 years Experience with certain SAP Highly Available configuration.
* At least 2 years experience with Oracle RAC environment.
* At least 3 years experience within SAP security organization.
* At least 5 years’ experience with UNIX/LINUX basic administration.
* Proficiency in communication skills including preparing business proposals and status/progress reports, and delivering presentations.
* Proficient in English language.
