This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and ambitious blue chip company as a Sales Manager – Food Service based in the Middle East.
Our client is an innovative and rapidly expanding food production company with significant presence across the MENA region. Their ever-expanding product range spans multiple categories including drinks, dairy, juices, fruit & vegetables.
They have delivered consistent category growth with innovative and trusted products in an efficient and profitable manner.
Managing a team of six and reporting into the Food Service Manager, the Sales Manager - Food Service will maximise the existing client base portfolio and expand into new customers and products. Responsibility will be yours for delivering the food service sales and profit margins of the organisation.
Other responsibilities of this role include:
•Client relationship management
•Management and expansion of the sales base
•Assigning annual sales objectives for the food service channel
•Health and safety of all sales employees
•Management of supply and delivery to customers
•Forecasting and inventory management
•Recruitment, training and development of sales team members
•Obtaining and reporting competitive market intelligence
The ideal candidate will have graduated with a degree in Business, preferable at Masters level, have significant sales experience in the FMCG sector and time spent in a management position. They will have excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills and be confident in training and developing staff.
