Job Description and Requirements
A leading contracting company is seeking to recruit a qualified and motivated employee for the following vacant position, Sanitary Ware Sales Engineer.
Duties and responsibilities:
•Devise and develop a marketing plan for products that are new to the market.
•Devise and develop a suggested market entry plan.
•Perform all the required market research and compose a report explaining the market situation and the company’s entry strategy through necessary tools SOWT, PESTLE etc.
•Prepare a monthly report explaining objectives achieved upcoming objectives, figures of sales, forecasted figures of sales and figures of sales’ calls and meetings.
• Fixing up appointments with Architects, Developers and Interior designers on daily basis.
•Generating new business leads from the best possible sources and meeting the existing clients suggested by company.
•Proactively initiate and engage in sales calls to new prospects of business.
•Interact with existing strategic customers/clients to solidify mutual relations and open new lines of trade with them.
•Develop, maintain and expand a client data base.
•Work on the brand image and market it amongst suitable projects and clients.
•Think critically and take steps towards enhancing the competitive position of our brand and products.
•Prepare comprehensive technical and financial offers to clients.
•Prepare invoices and continuously track the progress of payments.
•Supervise and follow up with the installation team, assuring best quality, timely performance and satisfaction of client.
•A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (sales experience in sanitary ware is a plus).
•Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree in marketing or a similar degree but experience in the sanitary ware field is mandatory.
•A minimum of 3 years experience in the sanitary ware sales field.
•Have a solid background in sanitary ware in terms of; products, brands, prices, installation and maintenance.
•Have a solid background specifically in: water mixtures, water taps, shower trays, shower screens and boxes.
•Posses firm presentation skills.
•Fluency in English language speaking and writing.
•Have a desire to make a significant contribution to a newly developed department in a well established organisation.
•Presentable, polite and has good communication and negotiation skills (Female candidates are welcomed).
•Strong client relationship management and development capacity.
•Computer literate especially with Microsoft Word, Excel, power point (Photoshop and other design software is a plus)
•Ideally, candidate should own a car (costs will be reimbursed)
