Job Description and Requirements
Job Title: Assistant Manager, Marketing & Communication.
We are looking for an individual with experience & skills in web content management, writing & editing for the web, site management & writing the monthly newsletter. The applicant would also be assisting the Marketing Manager in all marketing & communications activities and branding whenever needed. The individual will be responsible for developing the voice for all aspects of the organization's online presence. In addition to writing, editing and proofreading site content, this person will also work closely with the technical team to maintain site standards with regards to new development. The assistant manager will also be responsible for crafting site promotions, email newsletter, and online outreach campaigns as well as social media. The applicant will work closely with technical, business development, and marketing members of our organization, so strong communication skills are needed. The ideal candidate will also have experience managing online marketing & outreach campaigns. Tasks require a strong attention to detail & ability to work under tight deadlines.
*Create, develop & manage content for organization's web presence (require working with content management software)
*Coordinate web projects across departments
*Maintain a consistent look & feel throughout the companies websites
* Copy edit and proofread all web content
*Keep current with emerging web technologies through relevant blogs and events and social media
*Maintaining Facebook & other social media
*Assure web-based information is archived for future needs & reference
*Track and report on all site metrics
*Work cooperatively with key team members, clients and vendors
*Assist with media & collateral design & production including website, flyers, handbooks, graphics, displays and any form of print media
*Coordinate press conferences/seminars by liaising with organizers and following up on participation requirements, display requirements, speeches, management presence and media attendance in coordination with Corporate Communications.
*To assist with Corporate Social Responsibility plan for the company spreading awareness
*Maintain electronic image library of events, photo shoots, and exhibitions
*Exceptional communication & organizational skills.
*Knowledge of HTML & experience with popular content management (CMS) .
*3-5 years experience managing content & production for high traffic websites.
*Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Technical Writing or a related field.
Female is preferred.
