Maintenance Equipment Specialist, Oman

Job Description

- Review design limits of equipment in line with manufacturer design conditions
- Hands on knowledge of mechanical equipment, prime movers and ancillaries
- Repair, inspections, and testing of mechanical equipment
- Trouble shooting activities
- Root cause Failure analysis
- Preventative, Predictive maintenance and Corrective Maintenance plans
- Mentor Mechanical Technicians and Area Process Leads
- Review and evaluate vendor supplied spare parts list and stocking levels for all mechanical equipment
- Supervise major overhauls, rebuilds and projects.
- Promote safe procedures
- Participate in on and off site equipment inspections and acceptance tests

Experience

- 15 years+ mechanical maintenance experience
- 5 years+ supervisor experience

Qualifications and Skills

- Be able to read P&IDs and Mechanical Drawings
- Maximo knowledge
- Rotational position
