ITIL Shared Services Director – Healthcare & Hospitals

A stateoftheart hospital facility is seeking an ITIL Shared Services Director.

In this role you will be involved in an exciting project that is set to transform the healthcare landscape in Qatar, the Gulf Region and internationally.

As the ITIL Shared Services Director you will be instrumental in implementing and ensuring adherence to an ITIL Strategy, ensuring that business needs are met through the strategic delivery of the IT Service and leading the development of strategies, policies and procedures across the business unit.

You will support the hospital’s business aims to become a worldclass medical facility by incorporating the most advanced IT applications in all clinical, research and business functions.

Job Responsibilities:
•Accountable for overall shared services organisation (SSO)
•Ensures compliance with corporate strategy and ITIL best practices
•Reviews management processes to ensure that they are compliant with corporate governance of IT
•Implements effective controls for internal delegation, audit and control
•Takes responsibility for projects as agreed with the CIO
•Ensures adherance with ISO/IEC38500:2008 and the principles embedded within it.
•Communicates the IT strategy and other relevant strategies to staff. 

Candidate requirements

Education:
•Masters Level Qualification. Alternatively, Bachelor’s degree plus additional training/qualifications and/or experience will also be considered
Experience:
•1015 years experience in IT management, preferably as a PMO Director or Shared Services Director
Certification and Licensure:
•ITIL V3 Master / Expert level or equivalent
