Operations & Infrastructure Director – Healthcare

A state of the art medical facility in Qatar is seeking an IM Operations & Infrastructure Director.

Working alongside the Director of IT Strategy, you will establish the IT strategy for technology, including the feasibility of change and its likely impact upon the business.

You will be responsible for IT operational governance and planning the implementation of infrastructure services (including cabling, network, security, wireless, IPT, systems, storage, WAN).

Your department’s aim will be to support the business in becoming a worldclass medical facility by incorporating the most advanced IT applications and stateoftheart technologies. Helping to create a hospital that is set to transform the healthcare industry in Qatar, the Gulf Region and internationally.

Job Responsibilities
•Sets strategy for managing infrastructure change requirements and ensuring continued performance of IT systems and services
•Leads development, selection and solution delivery for IT Service Management
•Plans Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity for the hospital operation
•Takes full responsibility for budgeting, estimating, planning and objective setting
•Identifies and manages resources needed for the planning and development of information and communications systems.
•Influences senior level customers and project teams through change management initiatives, ensuring that professional standards are maintained.
•Responsible for defining and building the infrastructure solutions that align with business requirements.
•Identifies trends and root causes of problems and implement necessary remediation and process improvement.
•Establishes key performance indicators and service level agreements as part of a continuous improvement program.


Candidate requirements

Education:
•Masters Level Qualification. Alternatively, Bachelor’s degree plus additional training/qualifications and/or experience will also be considered 

Experience:
•Minimum of 10 15 years managing IT operations and Infrastructure 

Certification and Licensure:
•Familiarity with ITIL V3 Master / Expert level
