FINANCE MANAGER (SHIPPING INDUSTRY)

For a prestigious shipping company based in Dubai.
Reporting to the Managing Director, your role will include but not limited to creating, maintaining and managing accounting systems, liaising with banks regarding loans and obligations, maintaining and managing a budget and controlling system in line with management requirements, coordination and management of all accounting matters, reporting on cash flow, operation expenses and outstanding invoices and cash-flow management to meet financial obligations. You will also be involved in the preparation and reconciliation of all accounts for year-end transactions, coordinating insurance premiums to be paid, collecting all necessary information from all other functional departments with regard to the controlling function.
Applicants should possess a Degree in Finance from a recognised university with at least 5 years experience as a Finance Manager in the shipping industry and proficiency in MS Office and other accounting software. This is an urgent requirement and therefore, candidates who are available to start immediately will be given preference.
