An international online financial business tool is looking to recruit a Sales Director for their Dubai, UAE office. The ideal candidate will be based in Dubai already and have a proven track record of generating new business across the Middle East.
The Sales Director will report into the Head of Sales based in the UK. Therefore the ideal candidate will need to be able to work independently, be a selfstarter, have strong experience in growing and developing a business and delivery of targets. Strong existing relationships across the Middle East region for buyside and investment banking community is an advantage, preferably with experience working within investment banking/broking and other financial services.
Exceeding new business and renewal targetsIdentifying and delivering new revenue opportunities and developing sales strategies
Developing a continuously strong new business pipeline
Building relationships with users and prospects across the region
Liaising with the global editorial, analysts, sales, CRM, marketing/PR, and product development team
Providing an annual business plan and formulating business plans on request
Keeping abreast with the global financial markets, and our editorial and analytical content
Travelling across the region
Attending networking events and conference
A strong interest in and understanding of the financial markets and global hedge fund/buy side industry is essential.
Candidates should have excellent written English and communication/presentation skills
Fluency in an additional language, such as Arabic, would be advantageous
