Job description
Responsible for supervision of the day to day operations for a larger customer within the Government and Defense industry in Dubai with activities across the Middle East and Africa. Provide direction and guidance to the team. Ensure work flow of processes are consistent and coordination with the warehouse, customer and our team is occurring regularly. Reports to the Project manager.
Ensure daily operations is running according to schedule
Develop improvements to optimize operations.
Daily communication and guidance to of suppliers
Supervisory responsibility for operations and communication to the customer
Excellent interpersonal, people management, conflict handling, contract management and communication skills
Candidate requirements
Technical
Relevant project experience
Projects within Government and defense
Projects within Aid and relief
Warehouse operations
Middle East market knowledge
Port & Customs regulations and rules
Operational project experience
Contract management and project execution
Advanced degree
Min 3 years experience with projects
Preferred experience with projects in Afghanistan, Iraq and Africa
Preferred experience with US Government contract execution
