Job Purpose:
Design, estimate, bid, prepare the complete tender documentation, start-up and commissioning of Control Systems (PLC, ICSS) and F&G panels.
Responsibilities:
Respond to customers’ RFQs by preparing the full technical & commercial offer.
Design and quote a comprehensive solution of control systems (PLC, ICCS).
Prepare and submit a full set of tender documents including compliancy statements.
Evaluate, respond and finalize the technical & commercial proposals and queries received from clients, 3rd party suppliers and subcontractors.
Generate and prepare detailed engineering documents, proper electrical drawings, layouts and other related documentations.
Assist the procurement team to procure the equipment and materials for awarded projects.
Allocate the resources and prepare the execution time plan of the awarded projects.
Lead the technicians to build and wire the F&G panels as per the approved drawings.
Do the Software Development for the PLC systems.
Program and configure the F&G panels and HMI systems.
Conduct the testing, Start-up, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning of the PLC systems.
Conduct and attend the inspections, FAT, ISAT, SAT activities.
Follow up with accounts department on invoices and payments.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Instrumentation
Minimum Experience: 7 years
Required Skills: Fire & Gas philosophy; SIL concepts, Electronics/Electrical Systems; Troubleshooting Concepts; Programming PLCs and HMI Systems; Certification details of Hazardous Area Classification, Fire & Gas device application suitability, detail oriented; advanced IT and presentation skills; leadership skills and communication skills
Additional Skills: Development of Plan Management and Information System using OSI-PI software; ability to withstand pressure and effective solution provider; driving license required.
