Reporting to the Merchandise Manager your main responsibility will be to enhance the brand awareness and achieve sales targets.
The successful candidate will be accountable for improving gross margins, improving brand promotions and adhere to visual standards as per requirements. You will plan customer loyalty programs and ensure customer surveys are implemented across the stores. Visiting stores on a regular basis, understanding key issues and communication issues to the Merchandise Manager are a critical aspect to this position. Excellent communication skills are important as you will also liaise with the Marketing Coordinator, Visual Merchandiser, suppliers and operations. Experience in setting targets for brands, pricing activities and sales forecasting and monitoring of inventory levels will also be an advantage.
To be considered for this role five years’ experience in brand management in the retail sector is a pre-requisite. Two years’ experience in heading up a brand and exposure to merchandise planning would also be preferred. If you meet the profile then we want to hear from you.
