Technical Manager

A leading company which specialises in passive fire resistant products such as fire proof doors to joinery companies, contractors, architects and consultants in the Middle East is looking for an experienced Technical Manager who also has the ability to sell their products to customers.   Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for dealing with customers within the construction industry and providing them with the technical specifications of the products you are handling. In doing so you will also be part of the sales process by ensuring that your products are specified for the projects.   You will primarily be based from the Dubai office, however there may be occasions when you will be required to visit customers outside the UAE to discuss technical aspects and offer advice.   The ideal candidate will have three to five years’ experience within the same industry and be familiar with working to the British and North American standards within this sector. You should possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to give presentations to existing and potential clients. Ideally you should be able to speak Arabic however this is not essential.
