Corporate Legal Advisor

On behalf of my client, I am seeking a Corporate Legal Advisor to join their team in Abu Dhabi. Reporting into the CEO, you will be responsible for providing professional legal advice to the Group companies and its management that will safeguard the organisation, thereby also managing risk, and to represent the Group companies in any legal matters pertaining to their operations.



Key Responsibilities:

•Provide professional legal advice and follow up on any external litigations and legal issues referred by management

•Assist and support management in assessing the risk of entering into contracts in order to ensure that the company is not exposed to uncontrolled legal risk

•Coordinate and mange the appointment of legal representation for the company in litigation and other legal proceedings

•Maintain, process and follow up company compliance with the statutory and license obligations

•Liaise with Government departments and local industrial/commercial organisations on legal affairs

•Review and prepare legal correspondence/documents/contracts

•Review and prepare feedback reports on cases related to labour law affairs and litigations

•Coordinate the translation and legalising of the Group's legal documents

My client is seeking a degree educated and bilingual (Arabic & English) candidate with 5 - 10 years banking/corporate industry law experience. Candidates must have experience and knowledge of the UAE legal system, laws and regulations.
