Sales and Marketing Manager
Responsible to increase sales, market share and brand/ service awareness within all potential distribution networks. Developing marketing opportunities and plans; Accomplishes business development activities by researching; implementing sales plans; managing staff.
Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in assigned market.
Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base and contributes to the development of TAQAT in Qatar and Gulf areas.
Accomplishes marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs; developing field sales action plans.
Coordinating with marketing companies to emplement plans and activities.
Developing marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, to promote a product, service or idea.
Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
Research and build relationships with new clients.
Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
Set up meetings between client decision makers and Taqat’s practice leaders/Principals.
Create and maintain a calendar of marketing activities.
Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
Participate in pricing the service.
Work with TAQAT staff to ensure that prerequisites (distance jobs vacancies) are fulfilled within a timely manner.
Understand Taqat’s goal and purpose so that will continue to enhance Taqat’s performance.
Identification of Customer Needs and Challenges
Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
Present to and consult with management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and new channels.
Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and new channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop TAQAT's unique selling propositions and differentiators.
Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
Present an image that mirrors that of the client.
Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.
Able to converse to a deep level around business strategy
Extensive knowledge of marketing planning and budgeting.
Knowledge in Marketing analysis, intelligence and management.
Able to set and implement sales, marketing and pricing strategies.
Product launching and positioning capabilities.
Board level negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills
A transferable residence permit in Qatar.
Bilingual speaker (Arabic & English).
Valid driving license.
Education and Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree.
5-7 years in marketing with an emphasis on sales lead generation.
Experience in the outsourcing market would be an advantage
Experience in an NGO would be an advantage.
Strong network of contacts.
Experience of the strategic / consultative sales process
