Supply Chain Director

Represents more than 8 brands and has a nationwide footprint through a strong network of exclusive sales outlets, service and display centers, warehousing facilities, training academies, and extensive network of distributors including new retailing channel through specialty retailers and hypermarkets. The Group also markets certain OEM products under its own brand name.

We Are looking For: Supply Chain Director who is responsible for leading the Supply chain of the Company’s long term strategy with a view to creating shareholder value.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Build up the Supply Chain planning function;
Lead the start-up of the Supply Chain Planning Systems;
Develop Global production planning policies;
Schedule monthly production with attendant materials requirements planning based on the annual sales forecast;
Create a system to support the production planning process with accurate, timely information;
Establish the inventory strategy and plan;
Launch strategic and operational planning models;
Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws;
Select transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating;
Appraise vendor manufacturing ability through on-site visits and measurements;
Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders;
Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements;
Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities;
Follow up on the latest in supply chain, and represent the company in forums and exhibitions with the aim to gather increase efficiency and maximize costs;
Handle product transfers between all facilities;
Manage slow moving and obsolete inventory;
Supervise activities between Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Distribution;
Integrate finished goods inventories with the sales forecast;
Analyze budget related to capacity, production and inventory planning;
Perform other job related duties as assigned.
