Purchasing Manager

Job Purpose / Role: Deliver bottom line profitability through the efficient management of the value chain.
Plan, direct, or coordinate the activities of buyers, purchasing officers, and related workers involved in purchasing materials, products, services.

Duties & Responsibilities Peformance Outcomes with Key Result Areas
1- Study and analyse suppliers vendors, market and delivery systems 1- to ensure present and future material/service availability
2- Supervise assessment and pre-qualification of potential suppliers/ vendors. 2- to have an adequate pool of qualified vendors and suppliers.
3- Negotiate and maintain win-win relationships with major suppliers/vendors. 3- to ensure long terms partneships delivering cost savings and quality.
4- Support Bid Evaluation Committee and coordinate with different business units. 4- to ensure best deals, terms and conditions.
6- Develop, implement and review purchasing instructions, policies, and procedures. 6- Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.

Bachelors degree in Engineering. At least 6 years of management experience in telecom field.
