Executive - Government Relations
I. Provide support to the Senior Executive GR in coordinating all paper work and documentation for activities pertaining to visas, permits, licenses, registration.
II. Assist in processing all types of visas including employment visas, residence visas for employees.
III. Act as a single point of contact for all requisitions from the HR representatives and communicate all requirements to the Senior Executive - GR.
IV. Assist the Senior Executive - GR in the input of data into the system for all transactions and provide necessary documentation as required.
V. Be up to date with regard to any changes or amendments to the prevailing laws / rules / regulations, changes in forms / formats and other procedures and keep the Human Resources Department advised of such changes.
VI. In consultation with the Senior Executive - GR coordinate with immigration / labour office with regards to cancelled / absconding employees and delete from the Companies sponsorship list.
VII. Assist in the closure of departure and exit formalities for employees after cancellation of visas as requested by the HR representative.
VIII. Building and maintaining a network of contacts to support your work.
IX. Protect the interest of the company in accordance with governmental authorities, laws and regulation.
X. Support in the formulation pf structured and efficient processes for services provided while ensuring employee satisfaction.
XI. Provide an effective employee relations service to line managers and staff, ensuring that advice and/or counselling is given as appropriate to ensure equitable treatment of staff, within policy, and that such matters are properly documented.
XII. Participate as a team member in HR based projects and contribute towards developing new HR products, improved processes and systems that will enable HR be more customer service orientated and progressive.
